Carloforte (Tabarchino: U Pàize, lit. 'The Village, The Town') is a fishing and resort town located on Isola di San Pietro ('Saint Peter's Island'), approximately 7 kilometres (4 miles) off the southwestern coast of Sardinia, Italy, administratively a comune (municipality) in the Province of Sulcis Iglesiente. It is one of I Borghi più belli d'Italia ('The most beautiful villages of Italy').
