The Camp Speicher massacre was a mass killing that occurred in Tikrit, Iraq on 12 June 2014. The Islamic State (IS) captured between 5,000 and 10,000 unarmed cadets of the Iraqi Armed Forces in the vicinity of Camp Speicher during the Northern Iraq offensive.
