Cam Akers (born June 22, 1999) is an American professional football running back for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Florida State Seminoles. Akers was selected by the Los Angeles Rams in the second round of the 2020 NFL draft. He spent four seasons with the team, including the 2021 season where he tore his Achilles tendon but returned for the postseason and was a part of the Super Bowl LVI championship team. In 2023, he was traded to the Minnesota Vikings, where another Achilles injury prematurely ended his season. He has also played for the Houston Texans and the Seattle Seahawks, where he was a part of the latter's Super Bowl LX championship team.
