Buryn (Ukrainian: Буринь, pronounced [bʊˈrɪnʲ] ⓘ) is a city in Konotop Raion of Sumy Oblast, in north-eastern Ukraine. It was the administrative center of Buryn Raion until it was abolished on 18 July 2020. The population estimate is 8,197 (2022 estimate). Between 24 February and 4 April 2022, the city was under Russian occupation.
