Burnous
A burnous ( in tamazight ⴰⴱⵕⵏⵓⵙ, abernus, in kabyle, ⵉⵠⵉⴷⵉ, ividi or abernus, in chleuh ⴰⵙⵍⵀⴰⵎ, aslham, in darija برنوس, bernus ), is a long cloak of coarse woollen fabric with a pointed hood, often white, traditionally worn by Amazigh men in North Africa. In the region know as Tamazgha or the Maghreb.
