Bruce A. McPherson (born January 7, 1944) is an American politician who served as the 30th California secretary of state from March 30, 2005, to January 7, 2007. He served for 12 years as a member of the Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors, retiring in 2024. As of 2026, McPherson is the most recent Republican to serve as California Secretary of State to date.
