Brookwood School, founded in 1956, is an independent, non-denominational, co-educational, non-profit day school located on a 30-acre wooded campus in Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts. Serving students from Early Childhood (age 3) through Grade 8, the school offers a curriculum designed to foster curiosity, kindness, academic accomplishment and global citizenship. With a strong emphasis on student agency, outdoor learning and meaningful relationships, Brookwood’s Lower School (Early Childhood–Grade 4) and Upper School (Grades 5–8) divisions support a dynamic educational experience.
