Brienz/Brinzauls (Swiss Standard German pronunciation: [briːnts] ⓘ; Romansh: Brinzauls) is a village and former municipality in the district of Albula in the canton of Graubünden (Grisons) in Switzerland. On 1 January 2015, the former municipalities of Alvaschein, Mon, Stierva, Tiefencastel, Alvaneu, Brienz/Brinzauls and Surava merged to form the new municipality of Albula/Alvra.
The majority of the village's population speaks Swiss German, with a significant Romansh-speaking minority.
The village has been temporarily evacuated because of high risk of large rockfalls and landslipping; this could become permanent.
