Bojnord or Bojnurd (Persian: بجنورد, pronounced [bod͡ʒˈnuːɹd] ⓘ) is a city in the Central District of Bojnord County, North Khorasan province, Iran, serving as capital of the province, the county, and the district. It is about 701 km (436 mi) from Tehran. and 242 kilometres (150 mi) from Mashhad, the capital of Razavi Khorasan province.
