The Münchhausenstadt Bodenwerder (German pronunciation: [boːdn̩ˈvɛʁdɐ] ⓘ) is a town in Holzminden district, Lower Saxony, Germany. It lies on the river Weser and is best known as the birthplace and residence of Baron von Münchhausen.
