William E. Callahan (born July 31, 1956) is an American football coach who is the offensive line coach for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL). He was the head coach of the Oakland Raiders in 2002 and 2003 and led the team to Super Bowl XXXVII, where they lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Callahan was also the head coach for the Nebraska Cornhuskers from 2004 to 2007 and interim head coach for the Washington Redskins in 2019. He is considered to be one of the best offensive line coaches in the NFL. Callahan is the father of Brian Callahan, who was the head coach of the Tennessee Titans from 2024 to 2025.
