Benneth "Ben" Igweh (born 7 October 1968) is a Nigerian police officer and the Assistant Inspector General of Police. He was promoted to this position by the Police Service Commission on 30 August 2024 and was decorated by the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun. Prior to this appointment, Benneth Igwe was the 31st Commissioner of Police, FCT. He attended the senior executive course 45 at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies.
