Belomorsky District (Russian: Беломо́рский райо́н; Karelian: Belomorskin piiri) is an administrative district (raion), one of the fifteen in the Republic of Karelia, Russia. It is located in the east of the republic. The area of the district is 13,000 square kilometers (5,000 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Belomorsk. As of the 2010 Census, the total population of the district was 19,118, with the population of Belomorsk accounting for 58.7% of that number.
