The Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) is a public, comprehensive, research university located in Haidian District, Beijing City, China. The university is part of Project 211, Project 985, and the Double First-Class Construction.
BIT is one of the top universities in China. It was originally established as the Yan'an Natural Science Academy in 1940 in Yan'an, Shaanxi.
