Batangas Tagalog (also known as Batangan or Batangueño Tagalog; Baybayin: ᜊᜆᜅ᜔ᜆᜐ᜔ ᜆᜎᜄᜓᜎ᜔) is a regional variety of Tagalog spoken primarily in the province of Batangas and adjoining areas of Cavite, Laguna, Quezon, and Mindoro in the Philippines. It is characterized by a strong accent and a vocabulary and grammar closely related to Old Tagalog.
