Balgstädt (German pronunciation: [ˈbalkˌʃtɛt]) is a municipality in the Burgenlandkreis district, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Since 2009 it has incorporated the former municipalities of Burkersroda, Größnitz and Hirschroda.
