Deshamanya Al-Haj Badi-ud-din Mahmud (23 June 1904 – 16 June 1997) was a prominent Sri Lankan politician and educationist from Matara. He was a member of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party and he served multiple terms as a cabinet minister under Prime Minister Sirimavo Bandaranaike. His notable ministerial roles included Minister of Education for two terms and Minister of Health and Housing.
Mahmud was also dedicated to social and educational reform, having served as the first principal of Zahira College in Gampola.
