Black Entertainment Television (BET) is an American basic cable channel targeting Black American audiences. It is the flagship channel of the BET Media Group, a subsidiary of Paramount Skydance Corporation's Media Networks division. Launched as a USA Network programming block on January 25, 1980, BET would eventually become a full-fledged channel in September 1982.

As of November 2023, BET is available to approximately 67,000,000 pay television households in the United States-down from its 2011 peak of 92,000,000 households.
