Arlo Eugene Smith (October 9, 1927 – October 8 or 9, 2025) was an American lawyer who served as the District Attorney of San Francisco, California from 1980 to 1996. He was the Democratic candidate for attorney general of California in 1990, but lost to Dan Lungren.
