Ardra (nakshatra)

Ardra (आर्द्रा), meaning "wetness", is the sixth nakshatra (lunar mansion) in Hindu astronomy, corresponding to the star Betelgeuse in the constellation Orion. It has a spread from 6°-40'-0" to 20°-00', encompassing the constellation Gemini.
