Aranda de Duero is a city and municipality of the province of Burgos, in Castile and León, Spain. The municipality has a population of roughly 33,000. The city lies on the confluence of the Douro and Arandilla rivers, in the south of the province, in the crossroads of the A-1 and A-11 road routes. Aranda is the capital of the Ribera del Duero wine region and the third largest industrial centre in Castile and León.
