Ammar Campa-Najjar (born February 24, 1989) is an American politician and former official at the United States Department of Labor. Campa-Najjar has three times been a candidate for the United States House of Representatives. He lost against incumbent Duncan D. Hunter in 2018. Campa-Najjar lost again in a 2020 campaign to represent California's 50th congressional district. In 2022, he unsuccessfully ran for the position of mayor of Chula Vista, California. In 2023, he joined the United States Navy Reserve, and in 2025, he became a teaching assistant at Georgetown University. He is running for California's 48th congressional district in the 2026 election.
