Amioun (Arabic: أميون, romanized: Amyūn; Greek: Αμιούν) is the capital of the predominantly Greek Orthodox Koura District (from the Greek word χώρα (Khôra) which etymologically means "space," "place," "land," or "region") in North Lebanon. The town belongs to the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Tripoli and Al-Koura (Arabic: أبـرشـيّـة طـرابـلـس والكـورة وتوابعهما; Greek: Ιερά Μητρόπολις Τριπόλεως και Χώρας).
