Sainbuyan Amarsaikhan (born 13 June 1973) (Mongolian: Сайнбуянгийн Амарсайхан) is a Mongolian politician who is served as the Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia and also served as Mayor and Governor of Ulaanbaatar.
Amarsaikhan has served as the Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia since 2021, with reappointed following governmental reforms in 2022, and again in 2024 after the national parliamentary elections. In this key leadership role, he oversees multiple critical areas of national importance, including his responsibilities as the Head of the State Emergency Commission, Chairman of the National Committee for Regional Development, and Chairman of the National Committee for Climate Change.
In the realm of international cooperation, Amarsaikhan has co-chaired several high-profile international bodies. These include the Mongolia-European Union Cooperation Committee, the Mongolia-U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Investment, and the Mongolia-India Intergovernmental Commission. Additionally, he currently co-chairs Mongolia's roundtable meetings with the United Kingdom and Canada, as well as the Intergovernmental Commissions of Mongolia with Russia, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan.
