Allan Joseph Legere (February 13, 1948 – March 9, 2026), also known as the Monster of the Miramichi, was a Canadian rapist, arsonist and serial killer. In 1989, he escaped custody while receiving care in a nearby hospital and remained at large for over six months, during which he committed more attacks. He died in custody in 2026.
