Alhambra (/ælˈhæmbrə/ , /ɑːlˈhɑːmbrə/ , Spanish pronunciation: [aˈlambɾa] ; from "Alhambra") is a city located in the western San Gabriel Valley region of Los Angeles County, California, United States, approximately 8 miles (13 km) east from the downtown Los Angeles civic center.
