The People's National Army (PNA) (Arabic: الجيش الوطني الشعبي الجزائري, romanizedal-Jaysh al-Waṭanī al-Shaʿbī al-Jazāʾirī) is the military of the Algerian republic. It is the direct successor of the National Liberation Army (ALN), the armed wing of the nationalist National Liberation Front (FLN), which fought French colonial rule during the Algerian War of Independence (1954–1962).

The People's National Army include the Algerian Land Forces, the Algerian Air Force, the Navy, and the Algerian Air Defence Force. The antecedents of the army were the conventional military units formed in neighbouring Morocco and Tunisia during the war of independence from France.
