Aharbal is a hill station and tourist destination located in the south-western part of the Kashmir Valley in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It lies in the Noorabad area of Kulgam district, approximately 70–75 kilometres south-west of Srinagar. The locality is best known for the Aharbal Waterfall on the Veshaw River, and is sometimes referred to as the “Niagara of Kashmir” due to the volume and force of its waters.
