Aftab Karma Singh Pureval (born September 9, 1982) is an American attorney and politician serving as the 70th mayor of Cincinnati, Ohio, since January 4, 2022. He is a member of the Democratic Party.
Pureval was previously an unsuccessful candidate for Ohio's 1st congressional district in 2018, losing the election to Republican incumbent Steve Chabot. He ran in the 2021 Cincinnati mayoral election, and was elected, making him the first Asian American to be elected as mayor of Cincinnati. Pureval won reelection in 2025.
