The African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) is a pan-African network of postgraduate schools teaching mathematical sciences. Established in 2003 in Cape Town, South Africa, AIMS offers postgraduate training, research, and public engagement programs aimed at building scientific capacity across Africa. The institute was founded by physicist Neil Turok to educate African students in STEM fields to support the continent's development.
