The Advanced Research and Invention Agency (ARIA) is a research funding agency of the UK government, sponsored by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology.
ARIA has a similar remit to that of its US forerunner, DARPA, the intention of the UK Agency is to fund "high-risk, high-reward" research, including AI.
