Abdallah ibn Salam (Arabic: عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ, romanizedʿAbdullāh ibn Salām, lit.'Slave of God son of Peace'), born Al-Husayn ibn Salam, was a companion of the Islamic prophet Muhammad, and a Jew who converted to Islam. He participated in the conquest of Syria and Palestine, but died in Medina.
