Abbas Ali Khan was an educator and politician who served as the Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami and Education minister of East Pakistan (now Bangladesh). He was elected as a Member of Parliament of the 3rd National Assembly of Pakistan. He briefly served as the personal secretary of Fazlul Haque, the Prime Minister of Bengal.
