Arakaparampil Mathai "Arak" Mathai (28 April 1935 – 20 December 2025) is an Indian and Canadian mathematician who has worked in statistics, applied analysis, applications of special functions, and astrophysics. Mathai established the Centre for Mathematical Sciences, Palai, Kerala, India.
