The 83rd Infantry Division ("Thunderbolt") was a formation of the United States Army in World War I and World War II. Since 2014 the division's heritage is preserved by the 83rd United States Army Reserve Readiness Training Center (83rd USARRTC) at Fort Knox. It is currently the 83rd United States Army Reserve Readiness Training Center (83rd USARRTC) in the US Army Reserve.
