From March 9 to March 29, 2026, members of the New Democratic Party are voting in a leadership election to choose a permanent leader to replace Don Davies, who became leader on an interim basis following the resignation of Jagmeet Singh. Singh announced his resignation after being defeated in the 2025 Canadian federal election.
