The 2026 Marseille municipal election is being held to take place on 15 March to elect the municipal council of Marseille (which in turn elects the mayor), with an eventual runoff on 22 March. This election follows the tenure of mayor Benoît Payan, in office since December 2020, who is running for a full term. The election is expected to be highly competitive.
