On 19 December 2025, 27-year-old Chang Wen (Chinese: 張文) threw smoke grenades and stabbed people at two locations in Taipei, Taiwan, killing three people and injuring eleven others. Chang Wen fled from police and died when he fell from the Eslite Bookstore Nanxi building near Zhongshan Station.
