The first-ever Bangsamoro Parliament election is expected to take place in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) no later than March 31, 2026, under the Bangsamoro Organic Law, which serves as the charter of the autonomous region within the Philippines.

This election will be the first regular election for the Bangsamoro Parliament and will succeed the interim Bangsamoro Transition Authority Parliament.

The postponement of the elections from May 2022 to May 2025 was caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and, consequently, the absence of a Bangsamoro Electoral Code. The interim regional government and advocacy groups in Mindanao successfully campaigned to move the date of the elections.

The election was postponed for a second time after Sulu was ruled by the Supreme Court as not part of Bangsamoro, leaving seven seats unallocated. It had been scheduled for October 13, 2025. However, the Supreme Court declared the two districting laws unconstitutional, postponing the election yet again for a third time. It is now expected to be held no later than March 31, 2026.
