The 2025–26 Scottish Challenge Cup, known as the KDM Evolution Trophy due to sponsorship reasons, is the 34th season of the competition. The total number of participating clubs is 40. The competition began on 12 August 2025 with the new league phase and the final will take place on either the weekend of 28/29 March or 4/5 April 2026.
Thirty teams from the Championship, League One and League Two compete, along with 10 B teams from the 12 clubs who compete in the Scottish Premiership.
