2022 New Year Honours

The 2022 New Year Honours comprised appointments by several of the 15 Commonwealth realms to various orders and honours in recognition of outstanding contributions and public service by their citizens. Announced on 31 December 2021, the honours formed part of the annual New Year celebrations, marking the beginning of January.

These honours were the final New Year's appointments issued by Queen Elizabeth II. The Queen died nine months later, on 8 September 2022, at Balmoral Castle in Scotland, following the celebration of her Platinum Jubilee in June 2022, which marked the 70th year of her reign.

Recipients are listed according to the style they held prior to receiving their new honour. The list is arranged by the advising country, followed by the specific order or honour and its grade (such as Knight/Dame Grand Cross, Knight/Dame Commander etc.), and then by division, including Civil, Diplomatic, and Military, where applicable.
