A by-election for the United Kingdom parliamentary constituency of North Shropshire was held on 16 December 2021, triggered by the resignation of the Conservative Party Member of Parliament (MP) Owen Paterson. It was won by Helen Morgan of the Liberal Democrats, with a large swing of 34%.
It was the party's second gain from the Conservatives since the 2019 general election following their victory at Chesham and Amersham in June 2021.
