A by-election for the United Kingdom parliamentary constituency of Newark was held on 5 June 2014, following the resignation of incumbent Conservative Party MP Patrick Mercer after he was found breaching parliamentary lobbying rules. It was won by Conservative candidate Robert Jenrick, who held the seat albeit with a slightly decreased majority.
