The 1974 Blue Swords Cup international figure skating championship (Pokal der Blauen Schwerter) was held in Karl-Marx-Stadt, East Germany. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles and pair skating.

In the men's singles competition, Hermann Schulz from Dresden placed third, nailing a triple jump combination in the two-minute program, as well as a triple salchow during the freestyle segment. Konstantin Kokora of the Soviet Union placed first for the first time, after four-time defending champion Jan Hoffmann had left the competition due to injury.
