The 1875 New Jersey Senate election was held on November 2, 1875, to elect eight of the 21 members of the New Jersey State Senate that were up for election. Each County is represented by one Senator.
Democrats picked up the Somerset County seat, while the rest of the seats were successfully defended by both parties.
